Privacy policy
This page explains how Storyz uses information submitted through its updates-registration, project-submission, collaboration, and licence-request forms.
Data collected
Email address, selected profile, and proof of consent. For a Projects submission: title, format, stage, territory, pitch, optional link, and related confirmations. For a collaboration: role, proposal and optional portfolio link. For a film brief: starting point, activity, subject, objective, proposed budget, preferred date and optional link. Internal tracking may include work time, costs, approval milestones and orders to evaluate the service. For an Identity request: use, territory, project, context, and authority confirmations. If you create an account, Storyz associates the public status, public messages, and any replies or links you submit through application tracking with the signed-in email address. If you use StoryZ Live while signed in, Storyz stores account information and automatically saved projects. When a project is shared, the invited address, role, invitation status and contributions to the project are also stored. Technical information strictly required for operation and security may also be processed.
Purposes
To answer your request, show its progress and support follow-up exchanges in your personal space, qualify a documentary project or licence request, operate your member space, let you continue saved StoryZ Live projects, and share news according to your registration.
Basis and withdrawal
Processing is based on your consent. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to the contact address below.
Recipients
The Storyz team and technical providers required to host the website and process the form, including Netlify and Cloudflare.
Retention
Requests are kept until consent is withdrawn or for no more than 24 months after the last useful exchange.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain uses where that right applies.
Cookies and measurement
No advertising cookies are added. Sign-in uses essential functional cookies. Video progress and interactive story choices stay in your browser. Anonymous playback and form events respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Requests are stored in Netlify Forms and in the Storyz tracking dashboard. Their public status appears only in the account signed in with the same email address; internal notes are never displayed. When you use Live while signed in, your changes are automatically saved to your account after 30 seconds.
